A MYSTERIOUS DEATH.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, last night Tho inquest concerning tho death of Mrs M. Niccol was further adjourned ponding the completion of an analysis of the stomach. „ ... In the evidence to-day Dr Chappie, after deceased’s husband hud withdrawn an objection, stated that decoased had spoken to him about visiting Mrs Winter to obtain a misoarriago. Ho had advised her against such a step, and had thought shit intended to go on to the full period of pregnancy. Mrs Winter, in her evidence,j said she had bpoken to deceased about her condition, but there had boon no suggestion of procuring abortion. The medical evidence to-day showed that death was primarily caused by miscarriage, but how brought on could not yet be determined. There was a suggestion of- air embolism having proved fatal.
