Per Press Association. Christchurch, last night. Information has be6n received that the ship Loch Long, wreckage from which was picked up at Chatham Islauds on August 23rd, arrived in the Clyde from New Caledonia on August 28th, ■lt is evident, therefore, that the wreckage must have resulted from tho sweeping of the vessel’s decks by a heavy sea.
