DROWNED WHILE. BATHING.

Per Press Association. Invercargill, last night.

Arthur William Woir, 15 yenrs of age waß drowned while bathing in the Aparima river yesterday, below Thornbury. He was a high school pupil. NO WATER.

For the past six weeks practically no rain has fallon, and in town and country, people are carting water for domestic pur poses. The barometer which has been steady and high, is now falling:
