PROMINENT MEN JOIN THE BOARD.

Received 9.36 a.m., Oct. 11. London, Oct. 10. Mr Archer Baker, European Traffic Manager for the Canadian Pacific Railway, and Mr H. W. 'Williams, late manager of the London India Docks, have joined the Board of the Imperial Food Supplies Company, which has opened a depot at Halifax.
