RAILWAY APPEAL.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, last night. The Railway Appeal Board 3at to-day to deal with the appeal of James Austin, carpenter at Petone workshops, who was dismissed foe disobedience, he having declined to be transferred to Napier, as the change would affect his wife’s health. Austin claimed that he had been treated with exceptional severity. The Board reserved its decision.
