WORTHY SUCCESSOR TO A GRAND OLD JOURNALIST. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, last night. Mr William Spolto Douglas, who has been on the staff of tho New Zealand Herald for many years, has boon appointed editor of that journal in succession of the late Mr William Berry.
