COMMERCIAL.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Limited, an CommoD, Shelton and Co., Limited, re" port:—Wo hold our usual sale of stock at Waorenga-a-hika Thursday. There was a fairly good entry of cattle, about 100 head being yarded; but sheep did not come up to numbers advertised, the wet weathor having stopped several lines. We sold dairy cows from £5 15s to £6, heifers (in calf) £7 10s, run cows £4 10s to £4 15s, yearling steers £2 18s 6d to £3 10s, calves £2 2s, fab ballocks £B, forward store bullocks £1 ss. Sheep : Butchers’ ewes 15s to 15s lOd, and a small lino of hoggets at 9s 3d. The next sale will be held on October 22nd.
Mossrs Dalgety and Co. have received tho following cablegram from their London houso “ Since our last telegram tallow in general is 6d lower.”
