Prince Ching resists further Russian demands and insists on tho fulfilment of the pledge to evacuate Manchuria by the Bth. London, Oct. 2, Tho Daily Mail Kobe correspondent states that Japanese troops have left Kinsbio for Korea. Others embark at Karitsa. Great activity has been displayed at Kokura, the headquarters of the 12th division of the Japanese standing army. A squadron at Mesampho is covering the landing of troops intended presumably to guard Japanese telegraph lines as a set off to tho Russian occupation of Manchuria. Tho Mail’p Hongkong correspondent reports that 10,000 Chinese are engaged building barracks at Port Arthur for an additional 50,000 troops.
