Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, last night, The Council mot at 2,30. Tho Wellington Harbor Board Empowering Bill has passed the final stage.

HOUSE OF, REPRESENTATIVES,

The House met at 2.30

Mr Aitken presented a petition from Mr F. W. Isitt, praying for enquiry into tho custody of ballot papers and ballot boxes. The rest of the afternoon was taken up by Ministers in replying to questions on tho ordor paper and discussion thereon. Tho House mot at 7.30.

The following Bills were road a eocond time : Intostate Estates Legitimation Act Amendment, Fisheries Conservation Act Amendment, Commissioners Interpretation Act Amendment, Maori Land Laws Amendment, and Maori Councils Amendment. The House rose at 11.40.
