Tho annual meeting of the Auckland Bowling Association was held on Monday evening, when, in addition to ordinary business, the following notices of motion will be dealt with:—(l) “ That the Auckland Bowling Association be extended to include all clubs in the Auckland province, with a view to making it a really provincial association (2) “That the number of delegates from each club bo reduced to two, and that each club be entitled to one vote only ; ” (3) “ That the time has now arrived when the Auckland Bowling Association should conduct its own provincial tournaments; ” (4) “ That, in place of the existing Northern Bowling Association, it is advisable to establish an association for the colony, to which the various provincial associations shall become affiliated;” (5) “That delegates to the association must be members of an affiliated club ; ” (G) “ That the Match Committee of the association be reduced to seven members; ” (7) “That a committee be set up torevise the rules of the association and to report within one month.” NEW SPRING AND SUMMER GOODS, imported direct—Now on view.
