A conference of representatives of Cooporativo Socioties and Trades Unionists of Wales and Monmonthshire, held at Cardiff, representing a membership of 138,000, resolved that Mr Chamberlain’s proposals would bo a burden to workers, hamper industry, create capitalistic monopolies, and cause international and Colonial discord.
