A BURGLARY.

An amount of £4 Ss was abstracted from Mr Morse’s City Hairdressing Saloon after the closing hour on Saturday night. Mr Morse, on leaving for home, left in his cash-register in the shop silver to the amount of £4 17s, fortunately having taken with him a quantity of notes and gold. On Sunday morning, he'eamo down to his shop, and on discovering the prints of bare feet, he examined the premises, and on searching his register found that the amount of £4 8s was missing, the remainder (9s) being in sixpences and threepenny pieces and coppers. The lock of a door had been removed, the marks of the instrument being on the lock.
