Tho rain is general, but vory hoavy in tho northern districts. Eight inchoTi foil at Raymond Terraco. • Tho Eivor Huntor is rising rapidly. The lowlands are alroady flooded, and settlors aro removing their stock and storekoopors their goods, in anticipation of a high flood. Nolson’s Bay reports that a largo iron sailing vossol wont ashore at ivforna Point at 4 this afternoon. Ono boat reached land. No lives have been lost. A heavy sea is running. Eeceived 1.4 a.m., Sept. 28. Nolson’s Bay givos tho namo of tho vossel ashoro as Imora. It is supposed to be tho barque Oimora, from East London to Newcastle, in ballast. There aro no furthor details. It is believed that all hands are safoly ashore.
