THE NEW PREMIER’S POLICY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright I Brisbane, Sept. 25, Mr Morgan made a statement to the I House regarding the policy of tho now i Government. He declared that it would I be unwise this year to proceed with any I large measures of policy. He intended to devote the present session to absolutely I necessary measures, He would exercise tho greatest economy without impairing the efficiency of the service, and would givo effect to tho expressed will of the House that thore should bo no increased I I taxation until economy was practised to tho fullest extent. Ho hoped to stimulate settlement by throwing open private and Crown lands. Ho proposed to give I tho franchise to women and to abolish plural voting.
