SIR ARCHIBALD HUNTER’S CHARGE.
REAR-ADMIRAL DEMANDS AN APOLOGY.

Rear-Admiral Hed worth Lambton claims an unreserved apology from Sir Archibald Hunter, who before the Elgin Commission, complained that tho naval gunnery at Ladysmith left everything to be desired, and ilia: school girls could make equal practice. Admiral Lambtou declared that tho practice was extremely brilliant, and that Sir Archibald Huuter was an ignorant numbskull.
Sir Archibald Huuter has been ap. pointed Commander of tho Madras Army.
