The Dews of the resignation of Mr Chamberlain, Mr. Bitohie, and Lord George Hamilton was received in the House shoitly before eleven o’clock, says an Auckland correspondaot, and at once formed the leading topic of conversation. Mr. Seddon, on being approached on the subject, said he had no views to express on the situation at present, except that the financial barometer and the low price of consols apparently were indications of some such crisis in British politics.
