Messrs Huddart-Parker and Co.’s s.s. Westralia arrived from Auckland at balf- ' past two yesterday afternoon, and left for Southern ports last ovening. Passengers : —lnward : Intercolonial—Mis a Johnson ; Mr and Mrs Jaokson. From Auckland—

McLean (2), Pritchard, Macfarlane, Greaves, Thompson, Davis, Foster, Ferris, Fisher, Eodgers ; Mesdames Scott, Williams, Thompson and child, Chambers, Konway, Mason, Mentiplay, Birss, Matthews ; Messrs Smith, Willock, Gray (2), Cunningham, Poole, Loisel, Thompson (4), Cbambors, Fostors, Bustard, Birss, Matthews, Bridson, Sefton, Hansen, Dr. Williams; Masters Maofarlane, Birss, and Heale (2). The Union Company's s.s. Tarawera left for Auckland at half-past nine yesterday, morning, taking the following passengers from this port:—Mesdames Morrison and two children, Macdonald, Hawthorne and throe ohildren, Moody; Messrs Hawthorne, Cederwall, Gardiner, Cummings, McPherson, Winton, Garrett, Thompson, Sharp, Morrison, and Jones. The s.s. Waikare has ‘ been delayed in the South, and will not arrive here till Saturday afternoon. She leaves for Auckland and Sydney at 5 p.m. The Fanny arrives from Napier early this morning. The schooner Awanui left Mercury Bay on Saturday morning, and had a good run aoross the Bay of Plenty. East Cape was rounded on Monday and port was made early yesterday morning. Her oargo comprised 26,320 ft timber for Evans, Nield and Co., 7847 timber for J. Townley, 5950 timber for F. Stafford, 13,342 ft timber for Clayton Bros., 4105 ft timber for W. 0. Skeet, and 1326 staves for Williams and Kettle. The ketch Coronation arrived from Auckland yesterday morning with the following oargo :—County Council 6000 ft timber, Mr Pollen 10,000 ft timber, Smith and Black 4000 ft timber, 210 cases kerosene, 25 tons furniture, 64 tons of general cargo.
UNION STEAM SHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS, Friday, 18th.—Hawea arrives from Oamaru and Timaru, bto., and,leaves for Auckland. Last launch 6 a.m. Saturday, 19th.—Waikare arrives from the South, and leaves for Auckland and Sydney. First launoh on arrival, last 5 p.m. Sunday, 20th.—Tarawera arrives from Auckland during the afternoon, and loaves for the, South. First launch on arrival, last 6 p.m, . Sunday, 2pth.—Herald, arrives from Auokland and East Coast Bays, and leaves for Napier,at 5 p.m.
