The first agreement made under Mr Wyndham s Irish Land Bill Ac# has satisfied both landlords and tenants. Pilbarra’s cargo will not be known until the discharging has been completed. It is believed to be extensive, and it is estimated that the damage to the ship will amount to at least £2OOO. THE PRICE OF COAL. SYDNEY, Sept.. 15. The northern miners will ‘resist any reduction of the selling price ol coal, considering it unjustifiable. • There is now pending a case in the Arbitration Court, as to whether the proprietors are justified in reducing to ten shillings, and pending a decision no act on will be taken. In the meantime the Miners’ Executive are considering the offer of the New-castle-Wallsend Company to maintain the existing price conditions for another year, and ape hopeful .other companies Will do likewise. THE WARSHIPS. SYDNEY, Sept. 15. The 'Admiral is advised that the Warships Wallaroo and Mildura Will be re-commissioned with new crews 1 , which, with a new crew lor the Tauranga. arrive at Sydney at the end of November in the cruisers Diadem and Seylla- The Ringarooma is to be placed on reserve, the crew returning' to England. ;
