DRAINAGE SCHEME REJECTED. Per Press Association. Nelson, last nighty Very considerable interest is taken in the polling on tho proposal of tho Nelson City Council .to roise a loan of £55,000 to complete a drainage scheme. The result was 431 for and 550 against, so tho proposal is rejectod by a majority of 119.
