Outward : Mrs Atkinson; Misses Large, Rees, WarreD; Messrs Richardson, Grout, Paterson, Taylor, Arthur, Clements, Ryan, Griffin, Atkinson, Bentley, Young, Mitchell, Dodwell, Nicholson, Wallace, Renouf, Craig; Professors Manning Wigg and Young. The Herald leaves Auckland this morning at 6 o’clock for Coast bays and Gisborne. She should arrive here about Thursday. Tho ketch Sir Honry loaves for Auckland this evening, and thenco to Kaipara, where she will load timber for this port.
The s.s. Waipori arrived from Auokland early on Saturday morning with 177 tons of cargo ex Aparima from Calcutta. She left for Napier at 5 o'clock on Saturday evening. The Hawea leaves Oamaru to-day, Tiniarn to-morrow, and arrives here on Friday. Tho Tarawera leaves Wellington at 4 p.m. to-day, and arrives here on Wednesday morning. \ . ’ The Star of New Zealand arrived from Napier early on Saturday morning, and shipped at this port from Messrs Nelson Bros. 1700 oarcases of mutton, 100 bales of wool, and 15 casks pelts from different consignors. She left for Auckland at 5 p.m. Agents: Messrs Williams and Kettle. The Westralia arrives from Sydney and Auckland on Wednesday. The Fanny arrived from Napier shortly after 7 o’olock last evening, bringing 77 tons of cargo ex Turakina from Wellington. Passengers,: 14 footballers. We ,31-e in receipt of advice that the schooner Awanui left Whitianga on Saturday evening, for Gisborne with a cargo of timber for different consignees. The scow Era came down the river from Messrs Nelson Bros.’ wharf on Saturday, and was berthed at tho new wharf opposite the Supreme Court Buildings. She sails for Mercury Bay to-day. The schooner Aotoa arrived in tho bay from Auckland and Coast ports at four o’olock yostorday. Tho Weka arrives from Napier this morning, bringing a quantity of timber and general cargo. The Zealandia loft for Auckland at one o’olock on Saturday, taking the following passengers from this port : Mesdames Taylor, Kruse, Bayly, Sheen, Oman; Miss Warren; Messrs Kruse, Bayiy, Taylor, Sheen, Bennett, Vosper, Pyke, Jones. UNION STEAM SHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS, 'Wednesday, 16th.—Tarawera arrives from South, and leaves for Auokland. .First launch 6 aim., last 8 a.m. Thursday, 17th.—Herald arrives from Auckland and Fast Coast Bays, and leaves i. for Napier at 5 p.m. Friday, 18th.—Hawea arrives from Oamaru and Timaru, eto., and leaves for Auok- ' lard. Last launch 6 am. Sundry, 20th.—Tarawera arrives from Auckt land during the afternoon, and leaves ’ for the South. First launch on arrival, last 5 p.m.
