IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in them in that hehalf by "The Counties’ Act, 1886,” the Cook County Council do hereby resolve as follows: “That for the purpose of providing interest and other oharges on a loan ol £I3OO, authorised to be raised by the Cook County Council, under the provisions of ‘The Local Bodies’ Loans Aot, 1901,’ for surveying and constructing a dray road on the Mangatu river, at Whatatutu, to Barron’s section No. 6, Mangatu 1., the said Cook County Council do hereby make and levy a Special Bate of One Penny fn the £1 upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Mangamaia Special District, comprising Lot 1 of 1, subdivision 8, subdivision 6, subdivision 5 and 4, Lot 3 of subdivision 1, Lot 2 of subdivision 1, snd all of Mangatu l Block, and that such Speoial Bate shall bo an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during a period equal to the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.” The foregoing Speoial Order was made at a Special Meeting, held on the 28th August, 1903, and will be confirmed at a Meeting to be held on the 2nd of Ootober ' .
