The Times, oommonting on the significance of the Barton Government’s defeat over the (Arbitration Bill, condemns the efforts of the Labor party to brfild a Chinese wall of solid legislation round Australia to keep the country for their exclusive benefit and enjoyment. It adds : Tho results of the State’s reproductive works, conducted under Labor inspiration, have not conduced to increase Colonial crodit and to encourage capitalists to provide money to develop wealth.
