FROZEN MEAT MARKET. * (Per Press Association^ Napier, last night. The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company, Limited, London, cabled to day :—“ Frozen meat market: Prices are unchanged.” WAEkENGA-A-HIKA STOCK SALE REPORT.

At the "Waerenga-a-hika stock sale, held yesterday by Messrs Common, Shelton and Co. and Dalgety and Co., the entries consisted of 550 sheep and 140 head of cattle. All classes of stock were in strong demand. The prices realized as follows : —Sheep : Fat wethers 18s 6d, fat ewes 16s 6d, fat hoggets 15s to 18s, cull ewes Bs, cull hoggets Bs, a line of 850 good hoggets brought 13s, and the culls from the same line 12s 3d. Cattle ; Light beef £6 10s to £6 17s 6d, dairy cows £8 7s 6d, yearlings £2 15s to £3, empty cows £5. A special sale of dairy stock will be held on the 24th September. Dairy stock are in strong demand, and strong entries are anticipated.
