Per Press Association, AUCKLAND, last night. The barquentide Senorita collided with the Government wharf at Helensville, and sustained damage amounting to about Auckland Prohibition League passed a resolution urging the Government to apply section 83 of the Licensing Act, and make it illegal to send liquor to the King Country; that Maori Councils be given full power to deal with the liquor question in their districts; and protesting against the proposal to require a majority of those enrolled, instead of a majority of votes recorded, to make the local option poll effective. . , _ , The joint tonder of Fraser and Son ana Seagor Bros., at £6OOO, has been acoepted for repairs to the steamer Niwaru, which will occupy six weeks.
