It is many years since playgoers were worked up to such a state of excitement as they are over to night’s performance. For the last three weeks since it became known that this company would visit here, playgoers have been anxiously waiting for the Auckland papers, and when they found that the critics of that city were unanimous in declaring tho company to be the best all-round combination that had yet visited the colony, and tho comedies the most laughable over presented in New Zealand, excitement reached fever heat. The box-plan has been literally besieged, and to-night’s attendance should easily beat all previous records. The curtain will rise punctually at 8 o’clock,
