Orloff ran a miie in 1.45. Cruciform traversod five furlongs in 1.6, the mile in 1.45£, and tho milo and a-quarter in 2.12, while tho last mile of the distance was covered in 1.45, which may be regardod as a record. Another record was put up by Famous, who compassed nine furlongs on the tan in 1.58.
