Peter Burke, a farmer at Morven, was killed as he was driving home between 6 d 7 o’clock on Saturday evening. Not | returning home a search was made, and the dead body was found on Sunday momos near Waihao bridge. At the inquest tn dav a verdict of accidently killed by being thrown from a trap was returned. •Deceased bad been a resident hero for about forty years.
