The Union Company’s s.s. Tarawera arrived from Napier yosterday morning, and left for Auckland at 11 o’clock. Outward: Mrs Percival; Messrs Ramage, MoLean, Ramson, Macnicol, Ormond and Humphreys. Messrs Huddart, Parker and Co.’s s.s. Westralia arrived from Auckland shortly r before 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon. After medical inspection by Dr Williams, health officer, who granted pratique, the passengers wore taken ashore in the Waihi, arriving at the wharf at 4.80. She left for Southern ports last evening at 9 o’clock. The Hawea arrives from Napier this morning. The schooner Waiapu leaves for Coast ports 'and Auckland to-day. V -• Messrs Mackrell and Colley have received advioe that the schooner Gisborne sailed from Whitianga for this port yesterday. The Herald left Auckland yesterday, and should reach here about Saturday. Messrß Evans, Neild and Co. are advised that the schooner Awanui has left Mercury Bay for Gisborno with a full load of timber. On Sunday morning the barquentine River Hunter left Thames for Sydney with a cargo of 827,676 superficial feet of white pine timber. UNION STEAM SHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS.
