SHIPPING.

The Herald leaves Auckland at 4 p.m. on Tuesday for, East Coast bays and Gisborne.

The Tarawera leaves Wellington at 4 p.m. to-day, and arrives hero on Wednesday morning. The Union Co.’s Aparima left Calcutta on August sth, and is due at Auckland early next month.

Tho Westralia arrives from Sydnoy and Auckland on Wednesday afternoon. Tho Te Anau arrived from Auckland at 5 p.m. yesterday, and left for Southern ports last evening. Passengers :—lnward : Miss Lorcol; Mosdamos Goldsmith, Green and child, Newton and child, Symons, Bullard; Messrs Cumming, Hawthorne, Medley, Percival, Hinton. Outward: Miss Bulien ; Mrs McGavin ; Messrs Butherford, Langford, Eraer, and Boyds. Tho Zealandia arrived from Southern ports at 7 a.m. on Saturday, but owing to the heavy sea she was unable to work, and left for Auckland at 7.30, arriving at that pl{jce at half-past six o’clock yesterday morning.

The Hawea left Timaru at 8 p.m. on Saturday, and is due here on Wednesday morning. UNION STEAM SHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS,

Wednesday, 19th.—Tarawera arrives from the South, and leaves for Auokland. First launch 6 a.m., last 8 a.m. Hawea arrives from Oamaru and Timaru, and leaves for Auckland. Last launch 6 a.m. Friday, 21st.—Herald arrives from Auckland and East Coast Bays, and leaves for Napier and Wellington. First launch on arrival; last 5 p.m. Saturday, 22nd.—Taluno arrives from South, and loaves for Auokland and Sydney. First launch 6 a.m., last 10 a,m. Sunday, 23rd.—Tarawera arrives from Auokland, and leaves for South. First Haunch on arrival, last 5 p.m.
