PRECIPICE.
By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright, LONDON, August 14. The Hon. Gerald Fitzgerald, accompanied by two guides, fell, while descending the Montcrosa Alps. Fitzgerald broke his leg and hung over a precipice ten thousand feet high, a guide named Alder holding him suspended by a rope for seven hours until help arrived.
