The Ambassadors have demanded that the Porte shall take measures for protecting Consuls and foreign subjects at Monastir, owing to the population demanding arms, ostensibly for self-defence. The Turks and Macedonians mutually accuse each other of massacres. The instances include Christians at Kitchero and Moslems at Krushero, which' 1 the troops afterwards reoccupied. Ilalin, Rostovsky’s murderer, has heen sentenced to he hanged, with an accomplice who did not interfere to prevent the crime. Another gendarme was sentenced to fifteen years’ penal servitude. Revolutionary bands dynamited a bridge on the Monastir railway line.
LONDON, Aug. 15
Belgrade advices state that the Turks have been guilty of horrible atrocities at villages near Monastir.
They destroyed fourteen villages in Uskub and Viles districts.
SOFIA, Aug. 15
Bulgaria presents the Powers’ memorial enumerating misdeeds on Christian villayets bordering Bulgaria, and setting out the hopelessness of expecting any good from Turkey’s so-called reforms.

The Greek Premier, receiving the foreign ambassadors, pointed to the necessity of giving Turkey a free hand in dealing with the Balkan troubles, and requesting her to use the utmost severity to restore order.
BELGRADE, Aug. 15.
The customs authorities have confiscated a quantity of ammunition in cases labelled “ Hardware—nails,” destined for Macedonia.
