TALLOW AND HIDES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Received 10.59 p.m., Aug. 13. Sydney, Aug. 12. At tho Homebush sales prices were firm. Best wethers brought 21s 6d to 24s 3d, good 183 6d to 19s 6d { best ewes 20s, good 17s 6d to 18s 6d. Best bullocks £l2 15s to £l3 12s 6d, good £ll IQs; best cows £9 10s, good £8 15s; best beei t 29s 6d.
Melbourne, Aug. 13. Tallow is in demand for local manufactures at brisk prices, inclined to advance. Hides are in full supply. Last week’s rates were well maintained. Very fey? New Zealand were offered.
