An inter-islaad football matoh will be played at Auokland on August 26. The South Island selootors have chosen their l team os follows (one front-ranker, short): Full-back, S. Turtill; threequarters, D. I McGregor, Stead, Stalker; five-eighths, i Dun can and Woods; half, Harvey; forj wards, MoNIe, Fanning, Cooke, Given, ! Dennehy, Scott* Porteous; emergency 1 backs, Smith and Nelson. In regard to f the North Island team, a complete for- | . ward team can be got from,a team now in Australia. The certainties in the backs are Kiernan (half), Asher and Wilson, of Wellington (threequarters).
