A few days ago three masked men abducted Frieda Sittel, a young girl, from the Magdalen Asylum, in Berlin. She was the principal witness at the trial of forty men charged with offences against young girls. Her abductors overpowered, the asylum guards, scaled the walls, smashed the iron grating of the girl’s cell, and bribed her to accompany thorn in her nightdress.
