An extra prime consignment made from 21s to 23s 9d; good 16s 6d to 17s 6d. Best ewes 18s 6d to 20s 6d, good 16s to 16s 6d For cattle there were improved values, Best bullocks brought £l2 5s to £U 2s, good £lO 10s, best cows £8 10s to £9 2s sd, good £B, best beef 28s to 295.

Tallow is in brisk demand. The market is bare of New Zealand. Produce for the London market shows 10s advance ; mutton, mixed, is at 24s 5d ; medium 24b 10d. prime 265. 'ln hides a few New Zealand were submitted. Extra stout brought BJd to lOd, and average and medium 4£d to 4£d. „
