PREMIER’S PROPOSALS TO BE OPPOSED.
Per Press AssociationWellington, last night. The Rev. Mr Isitt, in the octzrse of an interview, stated with reference to the licensing deputation to the Premier yes- i terday, that the no-license party will j vigorously oppose at least three of the : proposals made by Mr Seddon namely ! (1) that there shall be no local option j poll till 1908 ; (2) that Magistrates shall j•' replace licensing committees; and (3) the : absolute prohibition of liquor in homes I of residents in no-license districts.
