ANTHRAX.

BONEDUST AT, KIHIKIHI,

[(Per Press Association^ HAMILTON, last night. An outbreak of anthrax has occurred at Thompson Bros.’ farm Kihikihi, two heifers dying. Mr Lyons, Government veterinarian, conducted a post mortem, and sent slides to Wellington. His diagnosis was confirmed, the disease being undoubtedly anthrax. The cattle were feeding on turnips, the first crop in virgin soil, manured by, bonedust.
