SHEEP FARMERS.

PRICES OF SHEEP DISCUSSED Per Press Association, Blenheim, last night. A representative meeting of sheep farmers of Marlborough was held to-day and discussed the prices given for Bheep in this district by the Christchurch Meat Company, aB owners Picton Freezing Works. A committee was appointed to wait on the directors and ask if in view of the fact that the number of sheep put through their works last season reached one hundred thousand they could not see--their way to place Malborough farmers on l * the same footing in every respect as the : Canterbury farmers.
