It was resolved to make application to Government for £ to £ subsidy. As a result of bringing together the land agents to consider the Bill to license land agents, it has been decided to form a Land Agents’ Association. As a result of the delay with regard to the Order-in-Council, and friction with the Drainage Board, a number of men engaged in electrio tramway construction works were discharged to-day.
