A snow storm came on when the party were at the top. MAORI WOMAN COMMITS SUICIDE. WANGANUI, last night, A young Maori woman, the wife of Neil Wilson, Kauangaroa, committed suicide this morning by taking strychnine. Her husband went outside, and, returning some little time after, found his wife on the floor, and 'a bottle containing strychnine on the table. Emetics were applied unavailingly. Deceased was depressed at the loss of her child two months ago.
