WHATAUPOKO ROAD BOARD^ IT is hereby notified that it is the intention of the above-named Board, at a Meeting to be held on FRIDAY, July 31st, 1903, to strike a General Rate of Three Farthings in the £, in terms of Section 37 of “The Rating Act, 1894,” and Section 114 oi “The Road Boards Act, 1882,” the said rate to be on the capital value of all rateable property within the Whataupoko Road District, for the period of One Year, from the Ist April, 1903, to 31st March, 1904, and to due and payable in one sum on August 14th, 1903, at the office of the Board, Lowe street, Gisborne. It is also notified that the following Special Rates in the respective Special Districts hereunder mentioned, to provide interest on Loans under “ The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,” will be payable for the same period, viz.: (1) The Whole District, at One Farthing in the £. (2) Mangapapa Special District—One Penny in the £. (3) Riverside Special District One Half penny in the £. (4) Stout Street Special District—One Half-penny in the £. IT is hereby notified that it is the intention of the above-named Board, at a Meeting to be held on TUESDAY, July 21st, 1903, to strike a General Bate of Three Fattnings in the, £, in terms oi Section 37 of “The Bating Act, 1894,” and Section 114 of “ The Boad Boards, Act, 1882 ”; too said rate to be on the capital value of all rateable property within the Kaiti Boad District, for the period of One Sear, from the let April, 1903, to the 31st March, 1904, and to be due and payable in one sum on August sth, 1903, at the oflioe of the Board, Lowe street, Gisborne. It is also notified that the following Special Rates, to provide interest ion loans under “ The Government Loans to Local Bodies Aot, 1886,” and any amendments thereof,'will be levied for the same period for the respective Speoial Distriots as defined in Speoial Orders striking Speoial Bates: — (1) On Loan of £1543 17s lOd over the whole distriot—Five Thirty-seconds of One Penny in the £.
