The National Dairy Association, Ltd,, in the annual report, state that prices were better during the past season. Though not so high, they were, still fair, and bad been usually remunerative. Among the reason given for the reduction iu price are tho large amount of Canadian and Argentine butter held in store, and the combined attempt by the London merchant to reduce the prices, and the indiscriminate marketing of shipments. On the other hand, cheese was in good demand, and had reached a record. Another attempt at amalgamation with the South Island branon had failed, but the Executive consider it would lead to economy and extern aion of usefulness. The turnover during the year was nearly doubled, being £66,064, as against £38,929. The profit and loss account after paying aloss on the winter show and cost of arch for Ducal visit was £Bl.
