LEWIS VAKIETY COMPANY.
On Monday; evening the above company open in the Theatre Koyal for a season of two nights only, and local theatre-goers should - take the opportunity of seeing the king of conjurors (Professor Lewis) and his taiented Company. A special feature of the entertainment will be Madame Lewis’s thought-reading, for which that lady has gained worldwide renown. Miss Ivy Rickards is highly spoken of in her seriocomic items, as also is Miss Violet Wilton, one of Australia’s best soprano balladists, who is under special engagement to 'appear in Gisborne. Miss Nora Kiley has caused much attraction elsewhere with her funny Irishisms, which cause no end oi laughter. Mr Sydney Gubb, the brilliant pianist, who has everywhere made a most favorable impression, should be well worth hearing in himself.
