MELBOURNE, July 17
A‘. man named Frossard has been arrested on suspicion of shooting a man named Ford at Dandenong. He confessed that he committed the deed with a pea-rifle stolen from a camp of ralibi tters.
The Dandenong mystery caused a sensation when reported, appearing to have been committed with the intention of robbing the victim, William Ford, of a sum of £l5O which! he had obtained for a house that be sold. The victim was cooking bis evening me.al when he was shot dead with five bullet wounds in his head and body. .The traces of,blood indicated that he had been shot when he was outside of his hut, the body then being dragged inside. 1
