IT is hereby notified that it is the intention of the above-named Board, at a Meeting to be held on TUESDAY, July 21st, 1903, to strike a General Kate of Three Fartnings in the £, in terms of Section 37 of “ The Rating Act, 1894," and Section 114 of “ The Road Boards Aot, 1882 ”; the said rate to be on the capital value of all rateable property within the Kaiti Road District, for the period of One Hear, from the Ist April, 1903, to the 31st Maroh, 1904, and to be due and payable in one sum on August sth, 1903, at the office of the Board, Lowe street, Gisborne. . It is. also notified that the following Special Rates, to provide interest ,on loans under “ The Government Loans to Looal Bodies Aot, 1886,” and any amendments thereof, will be levied for the same period for the respective Special Districts aB defined in Special Orders striking Special Kates;— (1) On Loan of £1543 17s lOd over the whole district—Five Thirty-seconds of One Benny in the £.'
