The Competition is being held partly with the object of keeping this Great Cure prominently before the public, and thereby being of incalculable benefit to those who have the misfortune to be affected by Coughs or Colds ; and also to encourage literary effort amongst Citizens. Jtmmm CONDITIONS—I— The Competition is open to all, without entrance fee whatovcr, and the Prize Money will be distributed aB follows: To the Author of the best set of Verses - - S2O To the Author of the next best set of Verses - filO To the Author of the third best set of Verses - The Judges (whose decision shall be final) are gentlemen prominent in the educational world, viz.: DANIEL LEVY, Esq., 8.A., LL.B., Scholar, Prizeman and Gold Medallist of Sydney' University; VICTOR A. Competitors must send six verses of eight lines each. Two verses being on subjects connected with Australasia. Two on humorous or topical subjects.
