OTie Board bad called a meeting Il'o decide upon a suit ; Some wanted cretonne fittings, While, others—they were mute. - From the color of the trpusers To the buttons on the hoots, There were many laughing puns, sirs,' J By the jokers o’er that suit. I The diver’s suit and helmet [ I Set that meeting in a roar ; I - Such fun was in its element As had ne’er been seen before, j Tae badge to grace a ruler, Qf grand, elaborate design ; The wearer’s half without demur ■Rolled in ; Ttvas quite sublime ! f‘ Now, who’s to wear it ?” asked the Board ; <• Our pilot bright and gay, Who takes our ships from outside road 1 Into our sheltered hay. ’ No emblem for our outside bay, Tho Cook graced it by a call ; gut ever since Old Adam’s day It is Poverty for all. 1 { The Harbor Board !
