By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Toliio, July 9. Japan is pressing for the opening of the town of Wiju to trade. The Korean Gov eminent pleaded that Russia objected. Japan replied that decision in the matter was vested solely* in Korea. Japan also protested against Kussia 'laying a cable from Autung to Yongmapho without consulting Korea, as a breach of Japan’s vested interests.
