THE RICKARDS’ COMPANY.
The Rickards Company will arrive from Auckland to morrow afternoon, and will open at the Theatre Royal on Monday evening, The company is probably the strongest Vaudeville eombination ever seen in New Zealand. Amongst the attractions promised are Messrs Seeley and West, the famous English musical comedians, who cause no end of merriment while on the stage. Miss Graeie Emmett and her American company of comedians will introduce a number of late American comedies, specially written for Miss Emmeft. The comedy to be produced at the opening performance on Monday is entitled “ Mrs Murphy’s Second Husband.” Mr Wallace Brownlow, operatic baritone; Miss Florrie Barns, a charming soubreite; Mr Bert Bradley, tenor, the great Clive, one of Australia’s leading conjurers ; Miss Madge Thomas, soprano ; little Eileen Cupel, a child serio and danseuse, complete the company of vaudevillians. The box plan is now open at Mr Miller’s, and intending patrons are advised to book.
