DECREASE OF SHEEP.

LARGE INCREASE IN EXPORT TRADE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, last night.

An approximate return of the number of sheep in the colony shows a large decrease this year, the inference being over-exportation. Over a. million and a quarter carcases of "mutton and lamb were exported lor the year ending March in excess ot- the figures of the previous vear.
